Dr. Kaye specializes in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, also known as Physiatry. As a Physiatrist, he focuses on how the condition or injury impacts his patient’s function and quality of life. Then he integrates multiple disciplines in an individualized treatment plan which may include medications, injections, bracing, nutrition, workplace ergonomics and physical therapy, occupational therapy, acupuncture, etc. Dr. Kaye also spends time educating each patient about their condition. He has spent his career working in various outpatient settings in New York City treating Olympic athletes, marathon runners, martial artists, Broadway performers, dancers, as well as weekend warriors.

Kim comes to us with 20 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in primary care of underserved populations such as those with housing instability, mental illness, and substance abuse. She also has extensive experience in provision of gender affirming care.

Kim grew up in the Hudson Valley. After 30 years in San Francisco, CA, she moved back to her home base and is beginning to replant her roots here. She looks forward to serving her new community with the same dedication and compassion she brings to all of her endeavors.

Dr. Madeo was born and raised in NYC. After her Infectious Disease fellowship, she worked at a hospital in rural Mississippi as the first and only Infectious Disease physician in a large geographical area. Here, she was instrumental in launching the hospital’s first Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, which successfully reduced the use of broad-spectrum antibiotics and raised awareness about appropriate antibiotic use. She also helped to educate the community via lectures, newspaper articles, brochures, and posters.

In May 2020, she joined an Infectious Disease practice in Athens, GA. Here she served as coordinator for the infectious disease rotation for medicine residents and medical students. She also ran an Infectious Disease community clinic and saw patients in private practice. She also worked on an Infection Control Committee.
